Riley Automation Anniversary

Riley Automation are pleased to announce their upcoming first year anniversary under the new ownership of Mick Sturgess and Andy Hooley following the successful MBO from the former owners in November 2017.

Riley Automation has been established for over 50 years, initially being part of the International Combustion Group.  The company was then acquired in 1990 by the Swiss Group S.I.G. where Mick and Andy started on the same day as sheet-metal workers over 25 years ago.

Having worked in virtually every stage of the business during their careers, Mick and Andy are hugely knowledgeable about the business and are fully focused on continuing the success of Riley Automation and driving the business forward.

The company has its own 3D in-house design team, sheet-metal workers, fitters and machinists to supply, manufacture and build from concept through to delivery.  Our team of fully skilled sheet-metal workers are capable of fabrication work to food and pharmaceutical specification, so we welcome enquiries for fabrication work alongside our parts handling and linear systems solutions.

Mick and Andy said: "It's an extremely well established business and we want to build on that cultivating relationships with new clients and driving growth within the business, whilst maintaining our rapport with our longstanding clients.

"Whilst the company remains committed to its core products of parts handling and linear feeder systems, we are also working in partnership and keen to develop relationships with machine builders and companies within the robotics and automation industries to supply the complete solution for our clients."
